instagram made me give up on tumblr. i like a few good tumblrs but cant get down with just people reblogging the same shit over and over and over. also gives a real skewed view of graff too, in my opinion, as there’s clearly “tumblr darlings” who get reblogged all day and thats where most of their rep is actually from anymore . instagram so far seems a lot more people psoting shit they actually see on their travels and not just a circle jerk of the same flicks from the same guys. granted, this isnt the writers themselves doing this (i dont think) so no hate on them….a lot of my own friends and crew are getting the same treatment. i just cant get into it anymore. props to the handful of tumblrs i followed that actually had their own material and added something new to look at, not just a race to reblog the same shit that trickles down from whatever other tumblr.
